100 days after the first case of coronavirus on New York, the city that became the red light of the pandemic begins with its Phase 1 of deconfiguration gradual this Monday.

The activities allowed to resume operations must do so progressively and with strict sanitary measures to avoid a new wave of coronavirus.
This includes the first phase of reopening the New York City:
- The construction and manufacturing industries will resume operations.
- Retail establishments can reopen but can only sell take-out items such as clothing, flowers, books, appliances, jewelry, furniture, and sporting goods.
- Supply chain businesses can go back to wholesaling.
- Economic activities related to fishing, agriculture and hunting are allowed to return.
Public transport
The Metro of the New York Cityk resumes its activities for all workers who return to their work centers this Monday, although the suspension is maintained from 1 to 5 in the morning.
In addition, the government granted more than one million face masks and more than 25 thousand gallons of disinfectant for MTA users.
Restrictions for Phase 1 in New York
- Have an occupation of less than 50 percent in the work centers.
- Only one person can ride an elevator.
- Workers must undergo temperature and health tests daily.

The Mid-Hudson Valley and Long Island regions will enter the second phase of reopening the state of New York on June 9 and 10, respectively.
