US Protection Secretary Lloyd Austin and Russian Protection Minister Andrei Belousov spoke immediately for the second time in simply over two weeks amid tensions over the conflict in Ukraine, the Pentagon stated, as reported by Reuters.
The dialog was initiated by Russia, Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh introduced at a briefing. Austin emphasised the significance of conserving traces of communication open throughout the battle in Ukraine, greater than two years after Russia’s full-scale invasion, Singh stated.
