As the granddaughter of Hollywood star Henry Fonda and daughter of cult actor Peter Fonda, Bridget Fonda was born with acting talent. The then five-year-old made her film debut in 1969 in the cult film “Easy Rider”.
After other roles as a teenager, the US actress celebrates her breakthrough with the psychological thriller “Female, single, young seeks …” in the role of Allison Jones at the age of 28. Word of her success gets around: Producers ask the acting talent for the lead role in the TV series “Ally McBeal” – but she refuses, in order to fully focus on Hollywood. The start of a great career?

In the same year, the US actress survived a serious accident with minor injuries. It could have been a possible turning point in her life. After a successful recovery, she married the composer Danny Elfman and has not appeared in a single film since then. Completely different than before: Between 1987 and 2001, Fonda starred in three to four films almost every year.
From now on it’s family instead of a film career: their son Oliver is born in 2005. The former Hollywood star hardly presents itself in the media either. To date, she has neither a Facebook nor an Instagram account.
Many of their fans are looking forward to a comeback. But currently the star is still a long time coming.
