Last March, Sully-sur-Loire saw the establishment ofa new association. Not just any one, given that it is the bearer of a project to create a multi-professional health center (MSP) in the coming years.
Since then, where are we? This is indicated by the young president of this association, Cassandre Puisset the project is ongoing and is scheduled for 2024. A meeting with the municipality should be held in January to discuss the possibilities of reception places which are not publicly mentioned at the moment.
“We have to see the city hall to find out if he wants to installation in new premises or renovation. We know approximately the number of offices we would need”, indicates the one who is a general practitioner.
Three general practitioners surrounded by other doctors
In addition to the surgeries, he mentions the need for a meeting room, a secretariat and buildings with the possibility of expansion. Healthcare workers who may be settling there will be mostly from the Sully area. “We wanted to gather their difficulties and their willingness or otherwise to integrate a nursing home. We have had more or less positive feedback in the sense that we did not have one more doctor than those who had committed at the start”, reveals Cassandre Puisset.
On the other hand, some additional professionals contacted agreed to join the adventurenot to mention other professionals who, without integrating the structure, are interested in collaborating with it.
Currently, the team that should integrate this future health center is made up of three general practitioners. Around them, users should find two nurses : one in advanced practice, and another Liberal health action in team (Asalee), specialized in the prevention of chronic pathologies.
Recently, new people have joined the team. First of all, two dieticians : Natacha Broye, who recently moved to a temporary location in the city, and Mariette Christelle, who currently works in Romorantin-Lanthenay and wishes Sully a part-time job. A psychomotor therapist it is also mentioned for the interval.

A health plan to write
Osteopaths they might also be connected to the MSP, even if they won’t reside on the premises. “Juliette de Person is the vice-president of the association. She participates in all the meetings and would like us to make protocols together”, explains Cassandre Puisset, who also speaks of a contact with a sophrologist of whom she has no news at the moment.
There are still a few steps to go before ambition finally sees the light of day. The heaviest is writing the health project which could be finalized by next summer. This long document must present a lot of information, such as the presentation of the territory and of the healthcare offer present in it, the organization of access to the treatments provided for in the context of the MSP, teamwork or the sharing of information between operators. “We will then introduce all the steps with the major authorities to obtain funds,” adds the president.
The MSP could cover six municipalities in the Val de Sully, with the possibility of expanding this area depending on the doctors who would have joined the project. Cassandre Puisset points out that the association is always looking for health professionals interested in joining the MSP or collaborating with it.
