The invaders suffered losses on the battlefield.
The enemy does not leave intentions to completely capture the Donetsk region, concentrating the main efforts on the offensive actions of the Bakhmut direction. Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Makeevka and Belogorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnekamennoe, Disputed, Belogorivka, Sol, Soledar, Bakhmut, Kleschievka, Novobakhmutovka, Krasnogorovka, Vodiane, Mayorsk and Marinka Donetsk.
On Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions without significant changes, no enemy offensive groupings were found.
The areas of settlements Vovkovka and Kondratovka in the Sumy region and Veterinary, Staritsa, Ogurtsovo, Gatishche, Volchansk, Budarki, Strelka, Ternovaya, Chugunovka, Domashnee and Topolya in the Kharkiv region were subjected to mortar and artillery shelling.
On the Kupyansky direction the areas of settlements Dvurechnaya, Zapadnoe, Sinkovka, Orlyanka, Kotlyarovka, Berestovo and Krakhmalnoye in the Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselovskoe and Stelmakhovka in the Luhansk region were shelled.
On the Liman direction Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Nevskoe, Kremennaya, Dibrova and Krasnopopovka in the Luhansk region fell under fire influence.
On the Bakhmut direction Disputable, Vyemka, Belogorovka, Razdolevka, Soledar, Paraskoveevka, Bakhmut, Vesele, Druzhba and Northern Donetsk region suffered fire damage.
On the Avdeevsky direction the enemy fired from tanks and rocket artillery at the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Vesele, Avdeevka, Georgievka, Marinka, Berdichi, Vodiane and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region.
On the Novopavlovsk direction shelled Vuhledar, Prechistovka, Zolotaya Niva and Bolshaya Novoselka in the Donetsk region.
On the Zaporozhye direction Malinovka, Gulyaipole, Dorozhnyanka, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Volshebnoe, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Orekhov, Novoandreevka, Stepnoe and Plavnye Zaporizhia region suffered from enemy fire.
On the Kherson direction Kherson and Antonovka of the Kherson region and Dmitrovka of the Nikolaev region underwent shelling from rocket and cannon artillery. There are casualties among civilians.
The enemy continues daily suffer losses in manpower. Thus, on January 12, in the direction of Starobelsk, Luhansk region, about 50 people of the wounded enemy personnel, who were operating near Svatovoe, were evacuated.
According to available information, in one of the tank battalions of the 26th tank regiment of the invaders, participating in the hostilities in the Kupyansk direction, as of January 12 10 units of T-80BV tanks remained in good condition. The rest are either destroyed or disabled. Of the personnel in the battalion, about 30 invaders remained.
Over the past day, our aviation has inflicted 5 strikes on the areas where the occupiers are concentrated. Also shot down UAV type “Orlan-10”.
The missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit two command posts, 9 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, ammunition, and an enemy electronic warfare station.
