Post offices bring good news for their employees. More precisely, the Romanian Post has offered an additional 300 lei for each of the employees’ minor children, so that an employee with two minor children will receive 900 lei.
“The National Society “Poșta Română” will offer the maximum value of the non-taxable year-end bonus allowed by law. This year was perhaps one of the most difficult in recent years. We know that all financial difficulties are becoming more and more pressing and we hope may this sum that we have decided to donate bring some joy during the holidays.
Therefore, each employee will receive the net amount of 300 lei through the Christmas bonus. The company will offer an additional 300 lei for each of the employees’ minor children. Make sure you have informed the company about your family situation and the number of children you are supporting,” said the head of the Romanian post office.

“As of January 1, no postal employee will go home with less than 2,500 lei net. Here we include salary, plus meal vouchers, worth 600 lei. We want every postal employee who works eight hours to have this guaranteed minimum income “, the head of the Romanian Post also said, according to Vremeanoua.ro.
How much does an STB driver get paid
A bus driver from Bucharest, not really a novice, leaves at the end of the month with almost 3,100 lei in his pocket, the amount which also includes meal vouchers, worth 400 lei, as shown in the pay slip of an employee of Societătăță de Transport Bucharest (STB) SA, from the last month.
With a category D driving licence, a high school diploma and a few years of passenger transport experience, a driver employed by STB can take home more than 3,000 lei, including the equivalent of food stamps and after paying all state taxes and fees.
The amount comes from a salary flyer recently posted on Facebook. At the salary employment of 4,135 lei, seniority of 7% and 158 hours worked, the driver had a gross income of 5,363 lei, plus meal vouchers of 400 lei and, after paying CAS (1,341 lei), CASS (536 lei) , tax (389 lei), remains with a net salary of 3,097 lei.
“It’s about how much STB drivers get paid. Is it a lot, is it little? STB is hiring bus drivers. You have to meet a few criteria: category D, have worked on cars of similar size, have certified people and some technical knowledge. And you get the refrigerator filled by the travellers, the ridicule by some bosses”, writes an Internet user on Facebook.
