Price list for the latest Xiaomi cellphones for March 2023, the Redmi 12C is priced at only one million.
Xiaomi released the phone entry-level the newest, Redmi 12C, in Indonesia Thursday (9/3/2023), along with prices and full specifications.
Redmi 12C itself is the successor of Redmi 10C which was released in Indonesia in April 2022.
In terms of design, the Redmi 12C looks similar to its predecessor. It’s just that, there are some differences, especially the rear camera module.
Redmi 12C carries a flat screen (flat) with a textured back.
Xiaomi says that the Redmi 12C is equipped with a 6.71-inch diagonal screen with HD Plus resolution. Redmi 12C is also decorated with waterdrop-type bangs (water drop) to accommodate the front camera (selfie), however, the resolution is unknown.
Redmi 12C has two rear cameras in an oval-shaped module and positioned vertically. On the side of the module, there is a fingerprint scanner sensor (fingerprint) as one of the device security systems.
The configuration of the rear camera includes a 50 MP main camera and a camera that relies on AI technology (Artificial Intelligence/artificial intelligence).
The rear camera is also equipped with HDR and Night Mode features to complete the user experience in taking pictures.
Redmi 12C relies chipset MediaTek Helio G85.
It is not yet known how much RAM will be brought to Indonesia, however, Xiaomi says this RAM can be expanded with an additional up to 7 GB. The storage capacity is 128 GB.
As an illustration, the Chinese version of the Redmi 12C has several combinations of RAM and storage i.e. 4 GB/64 GB, 4 GB/128 GB, and 6/128 GB.
In terms of power, smartphone supported by a battery with a capacity of 5,000mAH. Redmi 12C will most likely run the Android 13 operating system which is polished with the MIUI 13 interface.
Other supporting features include two device security systems, namely the fingerprint scanner (fingerprint) on the back of the phone and the face scanner (Face Unlock)
