Some trends in Moselle-Est
• Forbach : there is a strong demand for a weak supply. The trend seems to draw a market in tension, on the side of the real estate agencies of Forbach. As a result, houses and apartments are becoming very popular goods. On the buyer side, you have to be responsive.
• Sarreguemines : “The market is very tight. There are more requests than offers. So much so that if a good is offered at the right price, it can be sold during the day. This is what happened to me recently for a house in Sarreguemines at 320,000 €: I had obtained three offers at the price. Within 24 hours, the sale procedure was underway, ”explains Frédérique Schaeffer, real estate agent in the Sarreguemines area.
• Creutzwald : the real estate of Creutzwald is “in slight tension” since the deconfinement, but “to put into perspective, specifies Frédéric Albani, head of Laforêt-Lorraine. The offers are more numerous than areas really in tension, like Thionville. Despite its border location, Creutzwald remains a second choice. However, potential buyers have a new profile. “Cross-border workers in Luxembourg are more and more numerous. If their business is located in the east of the Grand Duchy, they are 40 minutes away, without traffic jams! “
• Boulay-Moselle : “Boulay is an attractive small town where there is everything”, presents Birte Doenst, manager of the real estate agency Orpi Boulay-Yutz. Located about thirty kilometers from Metz, Boulay-Moselle attracts two types of profile. “Many people already from Boulay who want a change for the better, but also people whose working life is in Metz,” she explains.
