Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the war in Ukraine would end when the Russian Federation met all the goals of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s so-called “special operation”, pravda.com.ua reported.
Asked by journalists about the Kremlin’s planned end to the war, “Putin outlined the tasks of the special military operation. Completing these tasks will mean the end of this special military operation.”
In early April, Peskov expressed hope that the war in Ukraine would end “in the coming days or soon”, either because Russia would achieve its goals or through negotiations. On the day of the 100th war, the Kremlin said it was still waiting to “achieve its goals.”
Adams Delimhanov, a cousin of the State Duma from Chechnya and Ramzan Kadyrov, said earlier that the war could not last until the end of 2022.
