However, according to Biermann, resources are needed to accelerate the development of autonomous driving and electric cars, so models with falling market shares are always at risk. “In some markets, you need an electric car in this segment, then there is competition in the form of an SUV – all of this consumes market share,” adds the designer in reference to traditional sedans.
