Sadio Mane just lost at final Liga Champions together Liverpool. How is the clarity of the Senegalese striker’s future with the Reds.
Mane’s future at Liverpool is in the spotlight. Because, the Senegal striker only has one more year on his contract with the Reds.
Mane transfer rumors then heated up ahead of the Champions League final, where Liverpool faced Real Madrid. reportedly, Bayern Munich interested in signing him, to replace Robert Lewandowski – who also wants to leave the Allianz-Arena.
Rumors even said, Sadio Mane agreed to move to Bayern. This was then muted by manager Juergen Klopp before the final was held.
Then, Liverpool ultimately lost in the Champions League final. The Reds lost 0-1 to Real Madrid at the Stade de France, Sunday (29/5/2022) early morning WIB.
After the match, there was a lot of news about the future Sadio Mane. Some say Mane gave a farewell comment during an interview, to say goodbye to Liverpool in the locker room.
Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg then tweeted about the clarity of Sadio Mane’s situation after the Champions League final. He said the player did not comment anything.
“Be informed that it is highly unlikely that Sadio will say anything about his future today. Nor did he speak to reporters in the Mixed Zone after the game,” Plettenberg tweeted.
Sadio Mane become a mainstay Liverpoolsince being bought from Southampton in 2016. The 30-year-old player has scored 120 goals in 269 matches, by presenting six trophies namely one title each from the Premier League, FA Cup, Premier League Cup, Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
