Al-Ahly Jeddah Club had stumbled in a goalless draw at home and among its fans, against its counterpart Al-Raed, last Saturday, in the sixteenth round of the Saudi Professional League, so the team’s results continued to fluctuate.
Al-Ahly Jeddah Club, under the supervision of Yasla, is in third place on the “Roshen” League club standings with 31 points, 13 points behind the leader, Al-Hilal Club.
Khaled Al-Issa spoke to the Saudi “Durina Gear” program about the fate of Matthias Jaisle, saying: “The coach is continuing, and the players are continuing. These technical matters cannot be brought up now. The public is waiting for what pleases them. The club is going from good to better.”
He continued by saying: “Al-Ahly is a candidate for all the tournaments in which it competes, and against all the clubs (those with first places) we presented very excellent levels, and I believe that they avoided losing to us.”
Some fans of Al-Ahly Jeddah Club believe that the performance of some players, including Riyad Mahrez and Roberto Firmino, was not at the required level.
