Hallo,
I’m 17 years old and male. Almost everyone at my new school has Snapchat, which is why I got it. I’ve already added a lot of people there, but I don’t know what to do next. I understand the basic principle of Snapchat, but I don’t know how to interact with the people now.
For example, a girl in my class just sent me a selfie snap of herself and I don’t know what to do now. Should I reply, not react or send a snap too? If the latter were the case, I wouldn’t know what kind of snap to take either. I don’t really want to take a selfie (but as a boy, that seems weird to me in general, I don’t know what kind of snap other boys send…).
And I don’t know who I should send snaps to regularly and who I shouldn’t (and here I have the same problem again, that I don’t know what kind of snaps I should send). And I don’t know much about the design stuff either (i.e. what stickers you should use, which filters are “in” at the moment, etc.). But I would also be very interested in what people chat about, which abbreviations are “in” and what the general “teenage rhetoric” is.
Well, it would definitely be nice if you could give me a little refresher on Snapchat. Not about the functions, but more about how to behave and so on…
