The trio will open the Westfalia bar in Maspalomas in September of 2022 after months of renovation. Because the gentlemen themselves do not have enough money to realize their dream, they decide to team up with an investor who also owns the property. He puts 200,000 euros in the dream of Jesse, Jeremy and Bart. The gentlemen must of course recoup those two hundred thousand euros, only then do they share in the profit.
But it does not come to that, because shortly after the opening – which is a great success – the owner decides that he is taking too much risk. He continues on his own. Jeremy, Jesse and Bart are fired immediately, but in a short update, the trio announces that they still regularly work for Westfalia. Jeremy is on stage every week as Divana Destiny and Bart as his alter ego Drag Selina Sugar ‘every now and then’. Jesse is more concerned with the light and sound. They therefore do not regret the whole move.
“I think we are still very happy with the step we have taken,” says Bart. Still, it tickles to start something yourself. That is why the gentlemen are eagerly looking for the right location to pursue their dream. “And it will come. (…) For the rest only super positive, we are having a great time here. Never leaving!”
