Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok again made a new breakthrough. This time revoking corporate credit card facilities at the manager level, to Pertamina’s directors and commissioners.
To CNBC Indonesia, Wednesday (16/06/2021) Ahok revealed that he got a Pertamina corporate credit card facility with a limit of up to Rp 30 billion.
So, what is the credit card limit for Pertamina’s Directors?
“I don’t know because when I asked for it from last year it wasn’t given,” he told CNBC Indonesia, Wednesday (16/06/2021).
Ahok said that he had asked the management to return the credit card since last year. However, this request was never answered. He also admitted that he did not know what the credit card limit was for management.
“I don’t know. The directors use a lot? We’ve been asking for it since last year. Let’s just ignore it,” he continued.
Ahok also said that the credit card facility he obtained from Pertamina had a limit of Rp. 30 billion. But now according to him it has been returned and asked to be closed.
“The benchmark that I have as Komut is the limit of Rp. 30 billion. I have returned it and asked for it to be closed,” he said.
Ahok previously explained that the revocation of the corporate credit card facility was aimed at making it easier for the company to exercise control and also prevent use that had nothing to do with the company.
“Yes, that’s right (revocation of credit card facilities). To facilitate control and prevent utilization that has nothing to do with the company,” he said.
Furthermore, Ahok said that the revocation of credit card facilities was effective from Tuesday (15/06/2021).
“It has been in effect since yesterday,” he said. Later, added Ahok, Pertamina Finance Director Emma Sri Martini will ensure the revocation of credit card facilities.
“Emma’s Finance Director will make sure,” he said.
Then, does the revocation of this credit card facility also apply to all the company’s children and grandchildren?
Ahok emphasized that the entire Pertamina group no longer has this facility.
“In essence, the whole group no longer has a corporate card,” he said.
