Golkar senior politician, Azis Samualcalled the police related to the case of beating the chairman of the KNPI DPP Haris Pertama. What does Azis Samual have to do with this case?
Director of Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat said the summoning of Azis Samual was related to the case of beating Haris Pertama. Azis Samual was summoned in his capacity as a witness.
“What is certain is that if he is summoned as a witness. With the capacity of a witness as a person like this… this is what the Criminal Procedure Code means, it means that there is a connection,” said Kombes Tubagus when contacted by reporters, Tuesday (28/2/2022).
Furthermore, Tubagus said Azis Samual summoned as a witness who knew about the incident.
“Calls as witnesses. Witnesses are people who hear, know, see a criminal event and so on. That’s the capacity of witnesses,” he continued.
However, Tubagus did not explain whether Azis Samual’s investigation was focused on the mastermind behind the beating that the police are currently investigating.
“It’s still a clear investigation, he needs witness testimony. Further information will be given later,” he added.
Azis Samual Examined as a Witness
Previously, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Zulpan confirmed that his party had summoned a senior Golkar politician Azis Samual in the case of beating Haris Pertama.

Zulpan said Azis Samual was examined as a witness in the case. Zulpan said the examination of Azis Samual was carried out because there was information from the suspects who had been previously detained by the police.
“The results of the examination of the suspects require that the person concerned is presented for examination,” explained Zulpan.
From the information obtained by detikcom, Azis Samual was summoned for questioning at the Polda Metro Jaya on Tuesday (1/3) tomorrow. Azis Samual was examined as a witness related to the beating of Haris Pertama by Mirdam Samual alias Bram et al.
