Knife attack in Burgas in the middle of the tourist season. A 17-year-old girl was attacked and stabbed 11 times by a stranger while crossing a footpath meters from her home. The perpetrator was detained and charged with attempted murder. Footage of the attack also appeared.

The victim was placed in a surgical ward at a Burgas hospital. One of her wounds is more serious, but her life is not in danger. The father of the 17-year-old girl told NOVA that psychologists work with his daughter because the shock of what happened was serious for her.
