What is the best-selling car brand in Latvia in 2022?

“Toyota” is currently implementing an electrification strategy with a noble motto – happiness for all. At its core, the brand offers self-charging hybrid cars, plug-in hybrid cars, battery electric cars, as well as hydrogen fuel cell engine cars.

Among them, self-loading hybrids will be the most popular and most beneficial solution for Latvian society in the long-term progress towards carbon neutrality, both now and in the near future. In 2022, they already accounted for 59% of the total volume of sales of passenger cars “Toyota”.

The strong performance of the “Toyota” brand in Latvia in 2022 was undeniably driven by both the “Toyota” authorized dealers and the global “Toyota” manufacturing family.

Despite the uncertainty in the current global economic situation and the constant pressure caused by the rising prices of consumer goods, “Toyota” expects that it will continue to increase sales moderately in 2023.

This will be facilitated mainly by further strengthening of the model range: in February a completely new self-loading hybrid model “Corolla Cross” will be launched, in April the modernized Corolla model range will be released, in June the first lightweight battery electric car will debut “Toyota” bZ4X and, in the third quarter of the year, the all-new hybrid electric models “Toyota Prius” and “Prius Plug-In”.

Car deliveries are also expected to gradually improve and therefore different models, depending on the level of equipment, could be delivered as early as the first quarter.
