A poll was launched on Twitter and Catalans beach was chosen as your favorite spot. 26% of readers chose it, ahead of Prophet Beach (22%), Pointe Rouge (20%), Corbières (17%) and Prado (14%).
An emblematic place in Marseille, the Plage des Catalans is appreciated for its ideal location. A fifteen-minute walk from the Old Port, it is located in the heart of the city center. A geographical location that delights walkers but also the most athletic with the beach volleyball courts available.
But for lovers of tranquility, Catalans beach is not the most recommended. With its ideal position, the stretch of sand is sometimes crowded in the afternoon.
