I was so careless and wrote an intimate message to someone on Snapchat yesterday and ended up exchanging nudes. The person kept demanding that I show my face in the nudes and I half-did that, like an idiot. The person then asked me for my Instagram and I followed her, but she didn’t follow me because I hadn’t accepted her account. My account is private, so no one can see my followers or who I follow, so the person shouldn’t know. Since the whole thing seemed weird to me, I blocked the person on Snapchat and Instagram. 2 minutes later, a new Snapchat account added me and sent me pictures of my face and a screenshot of my Instagram account and asked me if they should really publish the pictures, etc. The person then wanted to make a deal, I replied that they should be ashamed of themselves and blocked them straight away.
I’m still paranoid because the person has my account name and half my face is in the pictures. If they were published, my life would be destroyed.
What I forgot to mention is that I added the first Snapchat account on Snapchat via a link on Reddit and she was probably from the USA because she spoke English.
Have you had any experience with this and could you tell me how it would probably turn out and whether the pictures would become public? As I said, the whole thing happened yesterday afternoon and so far I haven’t heard of anyone getting the pictures.
You don’t have to tell me how stupid that was, I already understood that myself, but thanks anyway.
