(openPR) What is the Zoom information evening about?
On Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the training company Büchmann Seminare KG is offering a Zoom information evening on face-to-face training in senior assistance according to the Plön model.
The information evening should focus on all the questions that are important to those interested.
For example:
- What exactly is meant by professional senior assistance?
- What does senior assistance/Plöner model mean?
- What does the everyday work of senior assistants look like?
- How does independence work in senior assistance?
- What is taught during the training and what type of support is provided after the seminar has been completed?
The senior assistant and Hamburg training coordinator, Carolin Favretto, will discuss these and other questions with interested parties at an online information evening. Please register at www.senioren-assistin.de/aktuell.
On the history of senior assistance/Plöner model
For almost 20 years, there have been senior assistants who, as independent service providers, accompany older people in their everyday lives. They take care of all the everyday things that older people can no longer do or don’t want to do. With this non-nursing everyday support, which meaningfully complements the work of outpatient care services, it is often possible for seniors to stay in their own homes for as long as possible and for them to often avoid going to the home or at least postpone it.
Overall concept of the Plön model – training, aftercare, placement and networking
Büchmann Seminare KG was the first training company to prepare people with life experience for this profession close to people. Within a short training course of 120 hours – mainly on weekends – the company provides the necessary tools for caring for seniors in the outpatient sector. Even after the training, the participants are not left alone. The company offers access to the nationwide network of senior assistants, offers follow-up telephone advice and enables inclusion in the placement portal www.die-senioren-assisten.de at no additional cost. In this way, it is possible that senior assistants do not have to start a business as lone wolves.
The training for senior assistance takes place in face-to-face courses. Near Kiel, in Hamburg, Berlin, Leichlingen/NRW and in Nuremberg.
