The Society of Movable Property of the Boerenbond (MRBB) is a company that manages the assets of the Boerenbond. Above we show four major partners of MRBB, but in total more than 70 companies are connected to the financial holding behind the Boerenbond. These are often companies in the agricultural, banking and insurance sectors and in the real estate sector. If these companies do well, the Boerenbond holding will receive more revenue.
The MRBB has close cooperation with Boerenbond, the organization of interest of farmers and horticulturists in Flanders. For example, the board of the Boerenbond is made up of two people who are represented on the board of the MRBB. The MRBB also pays millions of operational resources to Boerenbond every year. “Each year the holding guarantees an intervention of 33 million euros, which is then invested in an interest group (Union of farmers, ed)”, Says Lode Ceyssens, president of Boerenbond and former deputy of CD&V.
