While much of the country was enjoying summer temperatures, the fight against snow continued in Hakkari, the media reported at the time.

For 20 days without interruption, equipment cleared the deep snow in the area of ​​the villages of Gollerbashi and Binbir in the Ikiyaka Mountains.

The cleared road section was 16 kilometers long, and in some places the snow cover, formed under the influence of avalanches and snowstorms, reached a depth of 8 meters.
