Electricity suppliers have been sanctioned by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) with 380,000 lei, for the issuance of late invoices.
“The object of the control actions was the verification of how, in the period 01.04.2022 – 30.09.2022, the suppliers fulfilled the obligation to issue invoices according to the billing period agreed with the end customers.
Following the checks carried out, it emerged that the audited suppliers did not comply with legal obligations, or that they issued late or did not issue electricity invoices after each billing period, were sanctioned with penalties for a total of 380,000 lei “, informs Wednesday. The largest fine was applied to Electrica Furnizare – 120,000 lei, followed by Hidroelectrica – 70,000 lei, CEZ Vânzare – 60,000 lei, E.ON Energie Romania – 50,000 lei, Enel Energie – 50,000 lei and Enel Energie Muntenia – 30,000 lei.
