Chongqing (China) hosted Smart China Expo (SCE 2023). One of the exhibits is the Flying Car. The car weighs about 560 kilograms and can carry two passengers. The maximum load capacity is 200 kg. The maximum flight speed is 130 kilometers per hour, and the maximum flight altitude is 1000 meters. The flying car is expected to enter mass production in 2024.
Also at SCE 2023, an improved version of the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) was presented. New energy vehicles are electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids (equipped with an internal combustion engine and an electric motor, as well as a battery that can be charged through the electrical grid) and hydrogen vehicles.
At the annual CES technology show in Las Vegas, a special helmet for brain scanning was presented. The headset performs an electroencephalogram (EEG) and uses artificial intelligence to predict potential risks of developing Alzheimer’s disease. Scanning takes 10 minutes.
Or another development presented at CES in Las Vegas – an intellect-translator of children’s crying. This device, according to the developers, will help determine one of the four needs of the child according to his discomfort index: hunger, dirty diaper, drowsiness and the need for parental attention. Translation occurs within 10 seconds of the baby’s cry.
Berlin hosted IFA 2023 – one of the world’s major exhibitions dedicated to consumer electronics. One of the developments is a suitcase-TV. The developers say that a 27-inch TV hidden in a suitcase can be taken with you on long trips and vacations.
Not without artificial intelligence at IFA 2023. One such announcement was Samsung Food, an AI-powered recipe service. It allows you to combine all smart devices in the kitchen into one hub – refrigerators, microwaves, and so on. The user needs to open the application and find out what products are in the kitchen – using the camera, the smart refrigerator will check the availability and offer various recipes. After choosing a recipe, the service will set the parameters of kitchen appliances – you just need to put the ingredients in them and click on the “Cook” button.
Fairphone 5 is a smartphone that you can take apart with a standard screwdriver and replace almost all the parts yourself.
