Igor Livanov gained fame in the 80s, playing the main roles in military feature films “Mercedes leaves the pursuit”, “Report from the line of fire”. The actor has always been especially successful on the screen with the images of persistent and experienced men. The artist needed the same qualities in real life. Fate has prepared terrible trials for Livanov. Having gone through them, he did not break down, did not disappear from the profession. On November 15, the actor turns 69 years old.

“Those who haven’t lived it will never understand me”
Igor received his acting profession at the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography. Livanov quickly and seriously fell in love with a pretty classmate Tatyana Piskunova. In her short life, Tatyana did not have time to achieve resounding success. She starred in only three films, including the main role in the musical “Ivan da Marya”.
The actors got married, became parents and lived happily until tragedy struck. Olya’s daughter was only eight years old at that time. Igor put her and his wife on the train: Tatyana decided to go with her son to her parents.
A train crash occurred at night, claiming the lives of 107 people, including those close to the actor. “Those who have not experienced this will never understand me. The dispatcher made a mistake by directing the freight train along the route the passenger was on. It is difficult to describe my condition. With an incredible effort of will, I pushed my emotions in, I can’t relax: what if this is a mistake and they are alive? They are lying in the hospital unconscious, ”Livanov recalled.
I hoped in vain. The actor was widowed at the age of 34.
Broken heart
Igor was brought back to life by Irina Bakhtura. Today we know her as Bezrukova. Irina is 12 years younger than the actor. At the time of their acquaintance, she was still a student of art school, but already from the second year the future movie star was involved in professional show business.
Irina looked at Igor with enthusiastic eyes. They played a wedding, the young wife bore the artist a son, Andrei. Once, when his wife was on the set, Igor was relaxing by the sea with three-year-old Andryusha. The boy disobeyed his father and nearly drowned. The baby was rescued by doctors in intensive care.
Livanov did not wait for his wife to drop everything and rush to her husband and son.
“I’m not hiding, I was terribly angry when people from the group said that Irina, having woken up, went to breakfast, and then filmed all day. But then I thought about it: every person in terrible moments turns on their own defensive reaction. Probably, Ira tried to forget herself in her work, so as not to go crazy, ”the actor once shared.
Subsequently, he suffered a spinal injury on set and was immediately unable to return to work. Relations in the marriage deteriorated every day. As a result, Irina started an affair with colleague Sergei Bezrukov.
Igor insisted on a divorce. “She was in no hurry to burn ties: if it doesn’t work out with a new man, I will return my lawful husband,” now he talks about his ex-wife.
Father and son Livanovs have not lost touch, no matter what. Andrei’s death at the age of 25 was a new shock for Igor Evgenievich. The young man suffered from an insulin-dependent form of diabetes mellitus. Andrei was found lifeless at home. There are still many rumors about his death.
Livanov, who learned about the death of his son, was saved by the fact that he was no longer alone. In addition, the artist’s third wife was preparing to give him a second child.
“Incomparable Pleasure”
“When the tragedy happened with Andrei, I already knew what Ilya would be. I had a responsibility to Olya, I understood that she needed to be protected. For her, it was overwhelming pain. She was just killed. Andrei called his mother, ”Livanov does not hide.
His third wife Olga is a quarter of a century younger, but the actor claims that he does not feel the difference in age. The artist’s wife is a lawyer by education. We met by chance in a nightclub. One son of the couple, Timothy, is now 15 and the other, Ilya, is seven years old.
For the family, Igor Evgenievich built a country house surrounded by conifers and a fruit garden. “When I see my flower garden, I get incomparable pleasure,” the actor rejoices.
He himself took up poultry farming. I am happy that my children spend a lot of time outdoors. Livanov still goes on stage and occasionally acts in films. Last year, viewers saw him in the upcoming season of detective Anatomy of a Murder.
