What if Rolls-Royce launched a supercar?

Thanks to its history, Rolls-Royce has a special place. It was only recently that Rolls expanded its range to include an SUV, the Cullinan, and who knows what else the company has planned … a supercar? That’s not to say the Rolls-Royces are slow – they aren’t. But what would happen if Rolls targeted Bugatti? What if Rolls made a luxury supercar?

A new rendition of Rain Prisk attempts to explore this, by creating a sleek, sleek Rolls-Royce supercar. Rain Prisk details the difficulties encountered in applying the company’s stylistic language to a sleek two-door supercar, writing that it was difficult to mix the classic lines of Rolls design with a central layout of the engine. However, he is satisfied with the result, even if he admits in his Facebook post that he fought body and soul to achieve this illustration.

The layout of the engine contradicts the iconic appearance of the company’s products – a long front end and a short rear end. The grille is narrow, the headlights are thin, and the brand’s emblem is where it should be: on the hood (or the front trunk?). Looking on the side, we observe doors of strange shape, an angular wing and a long rear part which gives way to the V12.

Nothing indicates that Rolls plans to introduce a new supercar in its range. Rolls gave a glimpse of its future with the concept 103EX of 2016. It was a long and elegant luxury car, which was equipped with both batteries and an autonomous system. It looks like a Rolls with a super long hood, a vertical grille and a short rear. It was not a mid-engine supercar.
