He explained that antibiotics help treat bacterial infections by killing them, so reducing the dose determined by the doctor is one of the most important things that must be taken care of in order to avoid exposing the person to health complications resulting from not paying attention to the timing of the dose.

The gastroenterology consultant added that not taking antibiotics on time exposes you to the infection not being cured and its continuation, or the severity of the infection increasing and becoming more serious and difficult to treat.

He stressed that taking antibiotics without a doctor’s prescription is a dangerous matter, because in this way you do not contribute to treatment, because you may be taking a type of antibiotic that is ineffective in the infection you are suffering from.

The gastroenterology consultant provided many tips when taking antibiotics, to obtain their good effect, which is to take antibiotics on time and according to the doctor’s prescription, and also to take them according to the period and duration specified by the doctor.
