Both black dates and clarified butter contain a high percentage of protein, healthy fatty acids and calcium, which are necessary for growth and performance enhancement of the body, to strengthen the immune system and other benefits.
But have you ever thought about what happens if you eat this mixture, to the health damage of excessive consumption, and what is the right amount?
Dr Marwa Shaer, a nutrition expert and researcher at the Food Technology Research Institute, said in a statement to “Masrawy” that the date blend with municipal ghee is one of the ancient Egyptian dishes of great nutritional value and its benefits include :
1. Provide the body with the necessary energy it needs.
2. Brown dates contain a lot of potassium, iron and zinc.
3. Contains some substances that strengthen the capabilities of the immune system.
4. Municipal ghee is also a good source of calcium and vitamins A, D and K.
5. This combination helps to increase the mineral salts that are important for the body.
Excessive damage:
1. This blend contains a large amount of calories, which leads to weight gain.
2. It causes high blood sugar, because it contains a high percentage of sugar.
3. It also leads to an increased incidence of “hyperactivity” in children, a behavioral disorder that affects children, due to an organic defect in the brain.
Right quantity:
Your doctor recommends eating only one tablespoon per day, equivalent to (50-60) grams.
Also, it is necessary to add municipal clarified butter to dates in specific proportions, in order to avoid health complications.
