After the international artist, Shakira, announced that she and her two sons would leave Barcelona and move to Miami to live there in pursuit of stability and the search for happiness, after her separation from the former Barcelona defender and the father of her two children, Gerard Pique.
There were several media reports stating that the reason for Shakira’s departure was related to Pique’s father expelling her from the house after the end of the relationship she had with his son, as Gerard Pique’s father, Joan Pique, gave Shakira a notice to vacate the house before the 30th of April, or she would have to pay a large fine.
It is worth noting that Shakira announced her departure from Barcelona in a statement she posted on her Instagram account. Her message stated: “I decided to stay in Barcelona to give my child stability, which is the same thing we are looking for now in another part of the world, along with family, friends and the sea.”
