Last Friday the Los Angeles Lakers got an agonizing victory against the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA. But beyond sports, one of the scenes of the day was starred by former NFL player Shannon Sharpe and Tee Morant, father of Ja Morant, star point guard for the Grizzlies.
Late in the first half, Sharpe, now a sports analyst for Fox Sports, had an exchange with several Grizzlies players and escalated to an argument in which Tee Morant apparently rebuked the NFL Hall of Famer. Immediately afterwards both had to be separated by the security of the Crypto.com Arena, thus avoiding a possible fight.
“They didn’t stop talking and clowning around, I’m not up for that. It all started with Dillon Brooks, I told him he was too young to guard LeBron and I got a ‘fuck you’. Then Ja came out of nowhere to talk and His father, who surely does not want to have problems with me, came to his defense,” Sharpe revealed after the meeting.
Already in the second half, both had the opportunity to chat and make peace, leaving behind any type of comment that was close to leading them to a physical confrontation. But this was not the only problem of the match, since in full court Desmond Bane drove LeBron James crazy, who did not remain silent and was also close to a fight.
