What happened to him? This is how the star of the Angyalbőr series, Zoltán Mészáros, lives

The main character of the series, the footballer-turned-taxi driver who is currently serving in the military, Zoltán Mészáros played it. Although the show was a great success that year, Zoltán did not settle in Hungary: first he traveled to Transylvania and then to Germany, where he also became a successful actor. The 59-year-old star has just visited home, for work. Produced by Megafilm Service S.E.R.E.G. is shooting the series, which will be shown on TV2 later this year.

“Right after the series, I went to Transylvania for 8-10 years, and then to Germany. I have lived in Munich for twenty-six years, where I have found my home. I have never lived anywhere for so long, and – being a local patriot – I don’t want to move anymore. As difficult as this journey was, it was worth it. I feel good, I love the city, I know everything about it, I almost dance with it. I couldn’t imagine my life anywhere else” – he told a Glanceto Zoltán, who also told the newspaper about his private life.

Here is a photo of the actor from two years ago:

“I’ve had three wives, but my life has turned out to be that I’m currently living alone. Unfortunately, with my child born from my first marriage, life brought me in such a way that I don’t have any contact with my two grandchildren… My other children, however, were born in Munich, the youngest, who is ten years old, still lives there. We raise him together with his mother, he lives alternately with me and her” – added the former series star. It is interesting that in 2024, the actor was able to take on the role of András Urbán again, as he will play him again in the upcoming series.

“According to the story, Urbán became a colonel, and that’s why I’m here now. It was great to be back home again, I met old friends and new colleagues” Zoltán closed the conversation.
