This is how the NFL wants to grow in Germany

The National Football League (NFL) wants to continue growing in Germany. A cornerstone of this is the flag football program. Over 100 schools in Germany have been equipped with educational equipment and content so that sport can be offered. “The NFL FLAG program is a central component of the NFL in Germany and, as a contact-free and injury-free variant of American football, is especially aimed at children and young people,” says Alexander Steinforth, managing director of thriving NFL Germany. Flag football aims to get children into hard sport at an early age without any health risks. The NFL hopes flag football will be on the program for the first time at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
