What does the post-credits scene mean in the latest episode of WandaVision?

Like every friday Disney Plus premiered a new episode of the series of the moment, WandaVision, which delves into the parallel reality created by Wanda Maximoff. The new segment delves into the origins of the Scarlet Witch and even the modest life she led with her parents, but in the end they revealed some post-credit scenes that are the subject of debate on social networks.

When it seems that the eighth episode has come to an end, a new scene appears on the screen revealing a very interesting story arc that refers to the original comics. After the usual credits we see again the director of SWORD announcing that they are “ready to start” and then we see the reconstructed body of Vision, but this time it’s all white.

The scene was taken from the comics of Marvel called John Byrne’s Vision Quest in West Coast Avengers. In that edition, Vision’s body is dismantled by government authorities as a result of trying to get hold of all the nuclear weapons in the United States.

Then Hank Pym manages to put all the pieces in their place and make it “work” again, but his spirit does not return so he appears as another android, without a soul and a white color very different from his old appearance. It should be noted that the red hue is a clear reference to the meaning of life in Vision, because when Thanos kills him in Infinity Wars he loses his color.

Disney Plus He announced at the end of last year that this 2021 would come with everything in terms of new programming that would drive millions of fans around the world crazy. But it was one thing to see the ad and another very different to start seeing WandaVision, which according to the company, will be key to understanding the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and to which Dr. Strange will now join.
