What does the mother say about the Russian athlete who had his hands and feet amputated?

The mother of the Olympic figure skating champion Romanas Kostomarov reacted to the information that the athlete’s hands and feet were amputated. Valentina Kostomarova claims that this news is far from the truth.

The athlete’s mother denied this information and refused to talk about Roman’s health, writes WomanHit.

“And in general: half of what is being written now is not true. We will not provide new information for now. Everything has its time,” she said.

As we reported, in Russia for a long time media attention has been focused on the serious health problems of the famous figure skater Romana Kostomarov.

Several Russian portals, citing an unnamed source, claimed that doctors had to perform a second operation, as a result of which the athlete lost both hands.

For the second month, Russia’s best doctors are fighting for the life and health of the 46-year-old Olympic champion. Roman Kostomarovs got to the hospital right after the New Year holidays. He had a fever and severe chest pain. Doctors diagnosed him with severe pneumonia, writes EG.

Further events developed at lightning speed. Roman’s health deteriorated rapidly, he was connected to an artificial respiration machine.

The figure skater regained consciousness, but a terrible complication arose – tissue necrosis. Doctors delayed the operation until the last, trying to avoid limb amputation, but the situation got worse. Kostomarov’s life was in danger. And the athlete agreed to the operation. Roman’s feet were smeared last week.

Unfortunately, the necrosis continued to spread – the doctors performed a second operation, blindfolding the hands.
