After you’ve uploaded a story to Snapchat, you might have noticed that it says “other Snapchatters” saw your story — but what exactly does that mean?
Originally released in 2011, Snapchat is a multimedia instant messaging app that allows users to send each other images and videos, as well as “stories” that are shown to people you choose for a set 24-hour period.
Although Snapchat has been around for many years, it is still used by people all over the world and is an integral part of many people’s daily social media routine.
Like other social media apps, Snapchat allows users to see who’s viewed their story by tapping the view count, and some people regularly check which of their friends have reviewed their posts.
However, you may also have noticed that sometimes when you look up who’s viewed your story, there’s a section labeled “Other Snapchatters” — but what does that actually mean?
Snapchat remains an extremely popular platform

“Other Snapchatters” means on Snapchat
If you see “Other Snapchatters” when you look at who’s viewed your story, it means someone or more people you don’t follow on the app viewed your story. You can see who these people are by clicking on their names and viewing their profile.
If people who aren’t following you have viewed your story, it probably means your story is public. If you don’t want random people to see your content on Snapchat, you can change your privacy settings within the app.
To change who can see your Snapchat story, just do the following:
Open Snapchat.
Click on your profile in the upper left corner.
Click on the settings top right.
Scroll down to ‘Privacy Controls’ and click ‘Look at my story.’
Change ,My friends,’ or ‘Need’ to block certain people.
Snapchat can be a confusing place at times, but we also have guides to help you figure out if someone’s blocked you and decipher what different emoji mean when they appear next to someone’s username.
