When Harvey Weinstein fell from his pedestal, back in early October 2017, Woody Allen had just finished halfway through his new film “A Rainy Day in New York”. You have to keep the coincidence in mind: The director, who has been confronted with allegations of abuse for a quarter of a century, staged a comedy in Manhattan in which a couple of older men from the film world fly at a young woman while at the same time a few streets away, on the editorial staff of «New Yorker, “none other than the journalist Ronan Farrow – Woody Allen’s prodigal son – published his Weinstein papers.
