Stupid question, because this is my third child. I never had anything like this with the first two, so I have no idea.
Until yesterday, I was in the hospital for a week because of complications from Covid.
At the moment I have to wear Tena Silhouette, which are women’s diapers, because the coughing fits mean I can’t hold my urine and when it comes, it’s a lot; pads don’t get me very far.
Anyway, since yesterday I’ve had mucus in my panties every now and then. It’s very reminiscent of discharge around ovulation… it really is like egg white but not watery, you know that kind of sludge that often gets a bit sticky between the egg white and the yolk. Stupid comparison perhaps. It’s clear, with no blood mixed in, but it’s connected like a lump of egg white on a raw egg. I’ve never had anything like that in previous pregnancies.
I know I’m only in the 29th week. Under normal circumstances, that’s completely absurd. But because of Corona, I’ve been coughing a lot, and a strong cough caused the cervix to shorten with my first child. By taking it easy, that went away and in the end my child was born at 40+2. I’m resting just because of the after-effects of Corona.
