What do they do it from? Viewers incensed: children’s parties ban

Maarten and Annemarie could participate in this way A House Vol. They have a total of seven children and only Maarten provides a living. He receives 4,750 euros a month, excluding bonuses, deposited into his account. To make sure everything runs smoothly and to save some money, the birthdays of all family members are celebrated at once.

All family members come to visit that day and also bring gifts, often money. Maarten and Annemarie have come up with something for this, namely a birthday pot. “We put it down for the children’s birthday, and if they want to donate money, they put it in this jar. And we will do something fun with it.” The children themselves go a step further by adding their own self-earned money.

They don’t have a children’s party: everything to keep the costs down, Annemarie explains. “We tried to have a party at home, but you don’t make the children of today happy with that anymore.” However, the children themselves find that very unfortunate and would prefer to have a party with all classmates.

Once the visitors are there, the money flows in. In total, the family received 350 euros as a gift, all for a fun outing with the family.

The viewer reacts furiously to the choices of Annemarie and Maarten.
