Gold prices stabilized in the local market, during trading today, Sunday, at the same levels yesterday.
The Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold went 675 pounds, which is the same level yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold reached 578.6 pounds, and the price of a gram of 24 carat was about 771.4 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold reached 5400 pounds.
Najib attributed the stability of gold prices, to the unchanged price of the metal globally, as a result of the closure of global stock exchanges today, which is the second day of the weekend for those exchanges.
