The UAE Ministry of Health announced the recovery of the first case in its country infected with the new Corona virus, out of 6 cases announced by the state a few days ago.
Liu Yujia, 73, said she had received good health care in the Emirates, expressing her thanks and appreciation to the UAE for the great care and attention they have received since she entered the hospital.
In statements carried by the Emirati News Agency, WAM, she stressed that “what the UAE has provided to it and all members of the family reflects the extent of care enjoyed by everyone who lives on this good land.”
She also expressed her great happiness by visiting the Chinese consul and the representative of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in the UAE, and congratulating her on her recovery.
Yujia, a grandmother, belongs to the Chinese family, who had been declared ill at the end of January.
For his part, Hussein Abdul Rahman Al-Rand, assistant undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for the public health sector, highlighted that all the tests carried out by the Chinese woman showed her recovery and complete freedom from the disease.
He stressed that the UAE’s dealings with these cases demonstrate the strength of the health system in the country thanks to the support given by the state leadership to this sector and the keenness to provide the highest levels of health care, whether for citizens, residents or visitors to the country.
He also indicated that the cases infected with the Corona virus are dealt with according to the highest applicable health standards, and they are placed under observation and medical care that conforms to the standards of the World Health Organization for people with symptoms of this virus and follow their condition closely until they fully recover from the disease.
