What did Munqith, the sole survivor of a terrible accident that killed a Saudi family, say?

Munqith, the sole survivor of a family incident where 8 of its members died in a terrible crash on Al-Rain Road, Wadi Al-Dawasir, described the incident as more than horrific and more than painful, and no being human could bear what he saw.

Sultan Al-Masradi said in his interview with Al-Arabiya.net that what he saw in this incident was similar to scary horror movies that language cannot describe.

visit his mother

In the details that Al-Masradi recounted while deeply shocked, sad and in anguish, he explained that he was heading with his sister to the town of Tathleeth to visit his mother, who always crossed this road to visit her.

Explosion and fire

He said that he was caught in an explosion and a fire broke out on the side of the road, so he stopped the car far away and approached the accident site to see a terrible ignition in the car and a girl nearby, so he and the good people of the passers-by stood by the road with the women who wrapped her in a blanket and drove her away from the scene of the accident while she cried her heartily and asked where are they and where are my family and what What happened at this place. She was in a state of fear and amazement.

He specified that the women calmed the girl while he tried to rescue an Indian who was stuck in the other vehicle and managed to pull him out, while he was unable to get the Saudi driver out because he was stuck in his vehicle.

It cannot be described

Al-Masradi added that what happened cannot be described due to the difficulty of the incident. It was like a nightmare that he was trying to get out of, as he ran with some people in an attempt to investigate the presence of survivors at the site, but to no avail.

And he continued: “In my life, I have not witnessed such an abomination in the scene, and heads burning inside the car, and everyone was stunned by the horror of the situation until the Red Crescent arrived.”

Sad feelings

And he added that since Friday he hadn’t believed what his eyes were seeing and the horror of the situation prevented everyone from filming the scene. He concluded his speech by pleading for the victims and their families, saying that “God grant them patience and comfort and make the deceased martyrs in the gardens of bliss.”
