What could be better than a Fiat 500L to film the Ferrari SF90 Stradale?

Ferrari has been more of the busy type lately. From testing a new electrified V6 to filming a remake of the Grand Rendez-Vous, the Prancing Horse has a busy schedule. There is still a lot to do in the coming months, as two new cars will debut later this year. In the meantime, it would seem that the Fiorano track is not only used to test prototypes since an SF90 Stradale was present to shoot a promotional video.

The “camera car” is embodied by a humble Fiat 500L that costs as much as some options that you can tick off when ordering Ferrari’s first series plug-in hybrid model. You can see the SF90 Stradale sliding when entering one of the corners of the track, so the AWD does not prevent it from sliding.

We haven’t seen much of the Maranello plug-in hybrid since its presentation several months ago. It seems that the manufacturer is shooting a video to promote it. However, we were able to approach it and try it, you can also find our test above.

One of the two new Ferraris slated for 2020 could be an SF90 Spider, which is probably the only way to make the car even more desirable. It would follow another recent entry into the range of Ferrari convertibles, the 812 GTS serving as an open-top derivative at Superfast. Speaking of which, the V12 powered machine could receive a more powerful version later this year, this would be the other new feature from Ferrari planned for this year.
