what brings you the facelift variant and when it appears

Dacia is preparing a facelift variant for the current generation of the Duster model. The new model is ready in a few months, the manufacturer announces.

Dacia is in no hurry with a new generation of the Duster model. Most likely, you will have to wait for this for about 3 years, a launch being scheduled only in 2024. Until then, however, the manufacturer comes with a facelift version.

That is a model that brings some improvements and could be ordered at the end of this summer.

What Dacia prepared for the facelift version of Duster

If you’ve been following Dacia’s recent launches, including the three new Logan models, Sandero and Sandero Stepway, then you know what to expect when it comes to the new design elements for the Duster facelift. Thus, on the prepared model will appear front and rear optical blocks similar to those currently existing on Logan, Sandero or Spring.

The small class B SUV will also benefit from a more imposing radiator grille, which will also generate a slight lowering of the bumper. The changes will be manifested strictly in the areas of the plastic elements of the body, without involving the metal surfaces.

As for the interior, there are some improvements. Not much, but it may be right. On board will be the new multimedia system, available on the new Logan and Sandero. And that’s it. On the technical side, however, the facelift version of the Duster will be equipped with a dual-clutch transmission. The EDC transmission practically returns to the Duster models.

The hybrid system will not be found on this new variant. It will most likely be introduced on the model prepared for 2024.

So you should expect the Duster 3 to benefit from newer technologies, a stiffer, more stable body structure with a higher degree of safety. At the same time, it will be built on the new platform, on which the new Renault Clio 5 and Captur 2, the new Nissan Juke 2 and the new Dacia Sandero 3 and Logan 3 are already being developed.
