Even before ordering, the seller must give you a delivery date or deadline. Without such mention, the maximum deadline is fixed at 30 days for delivery. Such a deadline is only valid if there is not in the meantime a case of force majeure which justifies its exceeding.
First action if you are not delivered on time, you must send a formal notice to the seller to deliver to you within a reasonable time, explain the Directorate General for Competition, Consumption and Fraud Control (DGCCRF). Whatever happens, keep proof of this mail, just in case.
If your package is desperately not delivered, you can terminate the contract and cancel the purchase. Again, write by letter ordered to the seller to inform him of your choice to cancel the purchase. He has 14 days from receipt of your letter to reimburse you.
