“The point system was designed to be very bookseller-friendly. You could collect points with many things that you do every day and that are obligatory, such as the web shop. Smaller bookshops also had good chances. For us, it was primarily the promotion of reading in schools , to which we are very committed. In addition, there is the reading scholarship we offer for families and other groups, with which we support people who do not have enough money to fulfill all their book wishes with book vouchers. We will use the money to the literature prize , which we are currently initiating. There are also investments, for example, in new lighting in the store and in readings that we would not normally be able to afford.”
