Freiburg currently has the lowest Corona incidence value in Baden-Württemberg. Experts see the reason that the region was hit so hard by the first wave in spring.
The State Health Office reported a seven-day incidence of 64 cases per 100,000 inhabitants per week for Freiburg on Monday evening – this is still the lowest value in Baden-Württemberg. The numbers have stabilized – the health department is now assuming that the Christmas holidays did not cause any upward movement.
