More and more companies are starting a real race for innovation in many areas! The State and several organizations have set up aid for the development of innovation during the creation of companies and the development of new products.
Research and development aid for innovative projects
Organizations such as the BPI offer various aid for innovation at the research and development (R&D) stage of an innovative project. These different aids are:
- Aid for the feasibility of innovation (AFI): distributed in the form of an innovation grant, or a recoverable advance.
- Aid for the development of innovation: this aid can amount to 3,000,000 euros and is aimed exclusively at existing SMEs, which would like to market an innovative product.
- The research tax credits / innovation: this aid allows innovative companies to benefit from a tax reduction, as soon as they embark on an innovative research and development mission.
- The Young Innovative Company status (JEI): this system also allows you to benefit from tax exemption, on condition that R&D represents at least 15% of expenses.
Aid for launching innovative projects
The State and investment funds continue to support innovative projects once the idea and the project materialize. The BPI offers, for example, a series of loans to support entrepreneurs such as:
- The pre-fundraising seed loan allows you to prepare a fundraising. In the event of public support for innovation, the purpose of this loan is to strengthen cash flow upstream of fundraising.
- The post-fundraising seed loan helps strengthen the financial structure of the company. The amount can be up to 500,000 euros.
- The innovation loan can amount to 5,000,000 euros and covers intangible expenses related to the industrial and commercial launch of a product.
- Aid for the development of innovation the amount of which is 3,000,000 euros, allow the establishment of technological partnerships for RDI (research, development and innovation).
- Innovation development contracts (CDI) allow entrepreneurs to receive between 40,000 and 300,000 euros.
