LIVERPOOL – The summer 2020 transfer market was closed on Tuesday 6 October 2020. However, the domestic transfer market in the Premier League is still open until Friday, 16 October 2020.
Domestic transfers here mean that English clubs are still allowed to sign players, as long as they are from a lower division or vice versa. Take for example Liverpool.
Reportedly they are targeting Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland and are trying to sign him before the domestic transfer window closes. Butland can be brought in because The Potters –nicknamed Stoke City – currently playing in the Championship Division or one caste below the Premier League.

So, what if you bring in players from the same division? The answer is no. Therefore, since they can still bring in or sell players until Friday 16 October 2020, Liverpool management will do it.
According to reports Sportskeeda, Liverpool management will release five players before 16 October 2020. They are Harry Wilson, Ben Woodburn, Nat Phillips, Herbie Kane and Liam Miller.

The majority of the names above are Liverpool U-23 team personnel. Only Harry Wilson is a senior member of The Reds. Haya alone, Harry Wilson, who has the Wales passport, is having a hard time getting a major place in Liverpool.
As the right winger, Harry Wilson has to compete with Mohamed Salah and Takumi Minamino. Last season, Liverpool loaned Harry Wilson to Bournemouth. The result fell in 31 Premier League matches, Harry Wilson collected seven goals.

However, Harry Wilson’s goals were not quite helping The Cherries – nicknamed Bournemouth – escaped relegation trap. According to Sportskeedam reports, a number of Diviis Champions teams intend to borrow Harry Wilson such as Swansea City and Derby County.
What about the other players? Ben Woodburn, who was recorded as the youngest goalscorer in Liverpool history, was targeted by Chartlon Athletic and Hull City. Meanwhile, Nat Phillips, does not know where to go after last season on loan at VfB Sttutgart.
For Herbie Kane, last season he defended Liverpool twice in the Premier League Cup. Meanwhile, Liam Miller, the Canadian footballer, like other players, will be loaned out to a lower division club.
