“What a baron, what five levs, he doesn’t have two levs in his pocket.” This is how the son of the Roma tartar from Plovdiv, Asen Boshnakov, described to Plovdiv24.bg the father, after everyone wrote his name among those detained for buying votes.
The young man, outraged by a search of their home on March 30, which he said was “without a prosecutor’s order”, claimed that his father was innocent. “There is no evidence against my father,” Boshnakov’s son said, and continued to be angry that the allegations “undermined the authority of their family” and that he was ashamed. Assen Boshnakov had two heart stands and diabetes, and last year he lost his wife.
He has a clear past and this could be verified. Boshnakov was charged only because he met with the lady in question, Nadezhda Batsanova, who has been identified as the organizer of the vote-buying scheme for Vasil Bozhkov’s party, the son said.
However, he believes that “we live in a free country and everyone can be seen with whoever they want.” Who sells and buys votes, why should he have two levs in his pocket? And how will that be a baron? And he has never been a rum, it’s a complete joke, a parody, “the son continued to resent.
He himself contacted our media to explain what was happening after he had been “attacked by the televisions”.
